The 21st Annual Bayard Rustin Community Breakfast took place Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Walter Denney Youth Center (Harbor Point) in Dorchester, MA.

For 21 years, the Breakfast has recognized the roles played by people of color fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Greater Boston and beyond.

Bayard Rustin was an African American, gay man whose life of engagement and leadership in the political movements for social justice, including the civil rights movement, identify him as a hero and role model for future generations.

The Bayard Rustin Community Breakfast strives to reflect Rustin’s activism, humanitarianism, and artistic ideas by creating a multicultural, spiritual, and educational celebration.
