Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is an easy and effective way to support AIDS Action through payroll deduction. To find out which of these programs your employer participates in, contact your Human Resources department. If your company does not have an employee giving program, or you would like to include AIDS Action in your existing campaign, please contact Lauren Wright at lwright@aac.org or at 617.450.1912.

United Way of Massachusetts

Many employers work with United Way to run their workplace giving program. You can find AIDS Action Committee’s designation number in the United Way brochure or write-in your designation to “AIDS Action Committee” on your United Way campaign pledge card. AIDS Action does have the designation number of 399788 as an affiliate agency of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts Employee Charitable Campaign (COMECC)

This program allows Massachusetts state employees to give to charities of their choice. You can find more information on the program in your COMECC Handbook or by contacting your Human Resources department. AIDS Action Committee's COMECC designation number is 309088.

Commonwealth of BOSTON Employee Charitable Campaign (COBECC)

This program allows Boston city employees to give to charities of their choice. You can find more information on the program in your COBECC Handbook or by contacting your Human Resources department. AIDS Action Committee's COBECC designation number is 2500.

Private Corporate Campaigns

Your company may already have an annual campaign for giving through payroll deduction. AIDS Action participates in the programs run by companies and organizations such as John Hancock Financial Services, IBM, and Harvard University. Contact your Human Resources department to find out more about your employer’s program and how to sign up.

Matching Gift Programs

Many companies will match your gift to AIDS Action Committee, which will double or triple the value of your gift depending on your company’s program. To find out the guidelines and instructions for applying for a matching gift, contact your Human Resources department.
