Housing Program Administrative Assistant
Volunteers help Housing Search Specialists by filing, organizing, and photocopying housing applications, and by calling property managers and housing authorities to discuss client needs and housing options. Volunteers in this position will play an integral role in providing the most up-to-date housing resources and information to our staff and clients.

Health Library Administrative Assistant
Volunteers in this position will help photocopy, bind and organize health materials for clients, callers, organizations, and visitors. Administrative assistants may also help the Health Library Managers research magazine, news, research, and medical articles to build up the health library’s resources.

Check-In Volunteer
Volunteers come in on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings and provide a consistent, caring connection by phone for people living with HIV/AIDS. Each volunteer has a set of clients they develop relationships with over time. Volunteers complement our case management services by helping clients work through problems and encouraging their successes. Volunteers report feeling very connected to their work and enjoy the warm and supportive team atmosphere.

Housing Search Volunteer
Assist with weekly housing search groups for clients of AIDS Action Committee who are currently homeless or are looking for alternative housing. Volunteers work one-on-one with clients within the group to help them complete housing applications. *To apply for this positon, please make a note of your interest in a text section of the application.
