Front Desk Volunteer (Cambridge)
Summary: Front Desk Volunteers provide a friendly face and atmosphere to all visitors that come into our office. Volunteers are responsible for checking in visitors, staff, and clients as they enter our building to access services, events, and/or meetings. Volunteers are responsible for answering a multi-line telephone and transferring the calls to the appropriate extension. Volunteers are also responsible for getting informed through our outlook system of daily and weekly activities and on-goings within the agency and community and learning about the various functions and programs of the agency for accurate telephone call transfers.

Primary Duties: Volunteers must make a 3-4 month commitment and can choose a 4-5 hour weekly shift during business hours. Shift availability varies by location and need.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Greeters must be friendly, welcoming, and prepared to respond to varying needs of visitors to the agency. Must be comfortable on the phone and prepared for a customer service role.
